Accessibility statement

The goal

I aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. It hasn't had a formal third-party accessibility audit, so I can't claim full conformance, but it's built and checked with that standard in mind.

What's been done

• Pages use real headings, landmarks, and a "skip to content" link.
• Everything can be reached and used with a keyboard, including the mobile menu.
• Text and background colors are checked for contrast.
• Images have text descriptions, and form fields have labels.
• Animation is turned off for visitors who ask their device to reduce motion.
• Pages resize for phones and zoom without losing content.

Known limitations

The online home search is provided by a separate service (Ruuster via HomeBase), which I don't control. If anything there is hard to use, contact me and I'll run the search for you and send you the results.
